Testimonials

“In our Becker community, every story is a spark. Every connection, a lifeline. Together, we are rewriting what resilience looks like. We are creating hope for our Becker community. We are unstoppable.”- BEED 2025 Attendee
``This event was the only time I’ve ever been presented with a clear understanding of how Becker differs from Duchenne, and what changes to care need to made.``- Individual living with Becker
``It was inspiring to hear from other people who face the same daily challenges I do. One of the aspects of having a rare disease is a sense of isolation, but it was encouraging to see how we all cope with BMD in surprisingly similar ways.``- Individual living with Becker
``Thank you to the entire Becker community for coming together and giving me hope for my son's future``- Parent to child living with Becker
``I really just want to say thank you for everyone who helped organize this event. So often I have felt alone with this disease and for the first time I have an overwhelming sense of relief that I have others to relate to and who will all support each other. The impact of this event is greater than you know.``- Individual living with Becker
